Before Waxing Treatment Information

The length of hair to be waxed should be a minimum of 4-5mm – please do not shave between treatments.

Do not moisturise the area to be waxed the day of your appointment.

Between Waxing Treatment Information

Regular exfoliation of the area 2-3 times a week, with a mitt, loofah or granular scrub. Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin at the surface of the hair follicle and prevents ingrown hairs. Your mitt or loofah needs to be replaced regularly, and rinsed and dried in between uses.

Moisturise daily for soft supple skin.

Do not shave between treatments.

If you regularly suffer from ingrown hairs try applying Tend Skin Solution (available in salon) 

You can also use a Hair Retardant such as Biodepyl to reduce hair regrowth.

 

Body Waxing

Our PHD waxing system is a Professional, Hygienic and Disposable strip wax. We apply a thin layer of wax over the area for hair removal, then remove the wax with strips. PHD pre-cleanser is applied to the area to be waxed to remove any excess oils on the skin and to ensure the strip wax adheres to all the hairs properly.

After all the hairs have been removed we apply a soothing and calming PHD Post wax lotion.

Some time and price reductions are available on some treatment combinations. Please enquire.

Bikini and Underarm Waxing

These delicate areas require a gentle wax, Therefore we use a hard wax. The warm wax is applied directly to the skin and is left to harden before being removed.

Brazilian Waxing

A brazilian wax is an extreme bikini wax where most of or all of  the hair is removed. Your wax will last  between 3-6 weeks (everyone is different). After you initial treatment your therapist will advise you on the time frequency to book your next appointment. Regular treatments will make the waxing procedure less time consuming, less painful and more cost effective for you.

Facial Waxing

A fast and easy way to remove unwanted facial hair. Results last for 4 – 6 weeks.
